Clothing Consignment Policy

When are take in days?

Tuesday and Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Consignment will be paid once every 30 days by cash or checks. Checks may be mailed when necessary.

What types of clothes/items do you accept?

Women's clothing & accessories, men's clothes, children's clothing, jewelry, wedding gowns & accessories, prom dresses, formal wear, and household items.

In what condition do you accept clothing?

Current styles, in season, better dresses & designer clothing in excellent condition -- no rips, stains, pulls, etc. Clothes must be VERY CLEAN, pressed and on hangers -- NO WRINKLED CLOTHING. Bags and boxes cannot be "gone through."

What is the commission rate?

Consignor receives 50% of selling price. We take 30 to 60 days to sell items. Separates, purses, and shoes are kept 30 days. The consignor may pick up an unsold item they wish returned within the 30 to 60 day period. After 60 days the disposal of clothing is at the discretion of the management.

Are there any fees for putting clothes on consignment?

A $1.00 fee is charged for every 1-15 items you bring in.

Can I bring in any style or type of clothing throughout the year?

No, we accept certain styles depending on the month. Below is a list of what we accept and when.

August thru December

Fall and Winter clothing

December thru May

Easter and Spring items; girls dresses; nearly new suits for men, women and boys are popular; prom dresses.

April thru August

Summer clothing for men, women & children. Shorts and tops should be like new, having had few laundering.

Anytime

Wedding gowns, veils and pageant dresses.

Are take in days the only days I can drop off clothes?

No, after an account has been established, consignors may leave a small number of items at the store on any day, as long as their account number and size are on each item.
